SublityATS gives recruiters back their time, and people, not AI, decide who gets considered and hired
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — SublityATS, an applicant tracking system built by recruiters, today announced that it is expanding its beta program to employers, corporate offices, search firms and independent cloud recruiters. As the use of AI in hiring faces growing scrutiny, SublityATS offers an answer: technology that makes recruiters more efficient, so that people, not AI, actually have time to make the hiring decisions.
“As a former recruiter and architect of another applicant tracking system, I have seen how organizations across the United States recruit. We examined every facet of common and uncommon recruiting steps and identified how to make the entire process as efficient as possible. Most applicant tracking systems are trying to get AI to filter candidates or identify the best candidates. I would argue that is the last thing we want AI doing. SublityATS makes the recruiting process more efficient so humans have the bandwidth to make the important decisions we shouldn’t be trusting AI with,” said Brad Sherp, founder and CEO of SublityATS. “People are what make an organization special. We shouldn’t leave the decision of who to hire to a machine (and especially not a black box), so we use technology to give recruiters the time to make the decisions humans make better.”
Sherp said administrative work is the bigger drain. “Most of the recruiters I have talked to since 2009 tell me they spend one full day a week proving they are doing their job the other four. That is 20% of their productivity lost to reports. Drafting an email the right way takes at least 30 minutes, so 16 emails fills an eight-hour day, and 16 emails a day will not get a recruiter anywhere.”
Sherp, who taught himself to code in 2009 because he was frustrated with the applicant tracking systems available to him as a recruiter, said that background sets SublityATS apart. “I have walked in a recruiter’s shoes, and I learned what is technically possible,” he said.
SublityATS uses AI only for tasks where the company believes it can be trusted: helping customers set up their workflows, suggesting roles when a CV is parsed and drafting cover letters. Candidates and recruiters confirm every suggestion, the workflows themselves are programmatic, and AI makes no decisions about candidates.
As governments in the United States and Europe move to regulate the use of AI in hiring, SublityATS gives candidates and recruiters more say in the process.
Candidates are matched to jobs by role, not by AI. SublityATS uses a universal taxonomy of roles, such as Physician – Internal Medicine or Accounts Receivable Manager. Candidates declare the roles they are qualified for, recruiters attach the roles they will accept for each job, and either can correct a suggestion. A candidate who is a Java developer, not a JavaScript developer, can be matched to the right jobs. Candidates also set the metro areas, states or remote work they will consider, and job alerts follow those preferences.
SublityATS also changes the way organizations track jobs and job openings. The company identified core inefficiencies in how most organizations track openings, which create unnecessary work and disorganized data, and built a new approach that lets recruiters track openings and distribute job postings more efficiently.
Recruiters often say the biggest delay in hiring is waiting for feedback from hiring managers, and recruiters rarely have the rank to pressure higher-ranking executives for an answer. SublityATS does the following up for them. It sends decision makers each submission with everything they need to respond, keeps reminding them until they do, and records their feedback on the candidate’s record the moment it arrives, so the recruiter can act while momentum is high. The recruiter manages the hiring process and makes the decisions, and SublityATS does the heavy lifting, including candidate outreach, marketing and reporting.
SublityATS is looking for employers, corporate offices, search firms and cloud recruiters who want to be early innovators in the next generation of recruiting technology.

SublityATS is in beta and is opening spots a few organizations at a time. It is already in use by a handful of select partners. It offers four account types: multi-location organizations, employers, recruiting firms and independent cloud recruiters. A Free plan includes unlimited jobs and up to 1,000 candidates, with no credit card or contract required. A Professional plan adds unlimited candidates and users, candidate matching and targeting, email blasts and reports.
