— Brian Bircher

OVERLAND PARK, KS, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Incisive Consultants, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in Epic electronic health record systems, today announced the promotion of Brian Bircher to Vice President of Strategic Growth, expanding the firm’s leadership team as it continues a period of significant growth.

The promotion follows Incisive’s recent recognition on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, marking the company’s second appearance on the prestigious national ranking.

In his new role, Bircher will lead strategic growth initiatives across Incisive, with a focus on developing new health system partnerships, expanding key client relationships, and building a scalable approach to long-term growth. He will also help develop and mentor a growing team focused on strategic accounts and business development.

“Brian has a unique ability to understand what healthcare leaders are trying to accomplish, build trusted relationships and connect those needs with the right expertise,” said Chris Blackerby, co-founder and CEO of Incisive Consultants. “As we continue to grow, we want to be increasingly intentional about how we develop new partnerships and expand the relationships we already have. Brian will play an important role in leading that next phase.”

Bircher brings more than two decades of healthcare technology experience to the position. He began his career at Epic, where he spent 11 years leading implementations across the country as the company rapidly grew. His career since has focused on helping healthcare organizations navigate complex technology initiatives while developing long-term partnerships with health system leaders.

Since joining Incisive, Bircher has helped expand the firm’s relationships with health systems across the country while taking on an increasingly broad role in the company’s growth strategy.

“What attracted me to Incisive was the opportunity to help build something special,” Bircher said. “We have tremendous Epic expertise, an incredibly talented team and a culture built around doing the right things for our clients and consultants. As we enter this next stage, my focus is on bringing that experience to more healthcare organizations, deepening the partnerships we already have and building a growth engine that can scale without losing what makes Incisive different.”

The promotion comes during a period of continued momentum for Incisive. The company was recently named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 following another year of strong growth and continues to expand its capabilities as healthcare organizations face increasing pressure to optimize their Epic investments, improve operational performance, and responsibly adopt emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

“As proud as we are of the growth we’ve experienced, we see tremendous opportunity ahead,” Blackerby said. “Adding strategic growth leadership is about making sure we are building the organization, relationships and infrastructure necessary for the next stage of Incisive.”
