AtmoSeal VP unites with manufacturer’s current below-grade offerings for total ground- to-roof protection across North America.
WICHITA, KS, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — EPRO Services Inc., the industry leader for waterproofing and vapor mitigation systems for projects across the US and Canada, today announced the commercial availability of AtmoSeal VP, a single-component STPE fluid-applied vapor-permeable air and water-resistive barrier for above-grade exterior wall assemblies.
“We formulated AtmoSeal VP around what specifiers actually need above grade: high vapor permeability, 12-month UV exposure, and proven STPE chemistry that has become the expected premium tier for commercial construction,” says Scott Schendel, Director of Product Development at EPRO. “AtmoSeal VP offers this in a single-component, thin-film system that can be applied to damp surfaces.”
Key Performance Highlights:
• Exceeds 20 perms at 20 mil thickness, delivering exceptional drying capacity and physical performance – limiting the potential for trapped moisture in the wall assembly while maintaining a high level of durability.
• Single-component STPE chemistry, applied by spray or roller in a single coat with no loss of mil thickness after drying. With excellent adhesion to damp or dry substrates, AtmoSeal VP forms a seamless and elastomeric air barrier on gypsum sheathing, plywood, OSB, CMU, and concrete.
• Meets the most demanding commercial code requirements. ASTM E84 Class A, AAMA 714-19, and compatible with NFPA 285 wall assemblies.
AtmoSeal VP is available in 5 gallons (18.9 L) buckets and has a shelf life of 18 months.
“For more than 30 years, EPRO has protected buildings below grade. With AtmoSeal VP, we’re bringing that same expertise above grade,” says Peter Grant, EPRO’s Chief Operating Officer. “For specifiers who already trust EPRO below grade, it’s now a complete system — ground to roof, one manufacturer.”
AtmoSeal VP is available with AtmoFlash VP detailing sealant. The two combine to form a continuous air and water-resistive barrier system without the need for separate self-adhered membrane materials. Both products are compatible with all EPRO below-grade waterproofing systems for complete warrantable building envelope protection from the ground up.
