Bruce Horan is helping unite Indiana’s health, fitness and wellness community at the Indiana Convention Center on October 10.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Bruce Horan spent years around basketball and fitness. Now the former Butler basketball player is helping bring Indiana’s health and wellness community together at the Indiana Convention Center.
The first ABC Health & Fitness Expo will take place Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall A.
Horan graduated from Butler in 2006 with a degree in Exercise Science. He remains Butler’s career leader in three-point field goals with 314. His background helped shape the idea behind the expo.
“I’ve been around sports and fitness most of my life, and I know how much the right people and resources can help someone,” Horan said. “We want people to walk into the expo, find something useful and hopefully leave motivated to take a step toward a healthier life.”
The expo will feature Indiana gyms, trainers, healthcare professionals, nutrition experts, wellness brands, meal-prep companies and other local businesses. Attendees will be able to meet the people behind these businesses, ask questions and learn about services available in their own communities.
The event is meant for everyone. Someone who already lives a healthy lifestyle should find plenty to enjoy, but so should someone who is simply looking for a place to begin.
“There are a lot of great health and fitness businesses throughout Indiana,” Horan said. “We’re giving them a place to come together while making it easier for people to see what is available to them.”
