BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Ruadán Books is delighted to announce that it has signed a deal with Ellen Datlow, via Merrilee Heifetz at Writers House, to publish Dark End of the Street, an anthology of supernatural noir, scheduled for release in the Fall of 2027.

Ellen Datlow needs no introduction: she’s a legendary, award-winning horror editor who’s been in the field over forty years. Her recent releases include Night & Day (from Saga Doubles), Lovecraft’s Brood: Nineteen Tales of Cosmic Horror and the forthcoming All Hallows Eve and Best Horror of the Year, Volume Eighteen.

“I had such a great time editing my original anthology Supernatural Noir way back in 2011 that I’ve been yearning to edit a second volume of stories on the theme,” Ellen says. “Happily, R. B. Wood, publisher of Ruadán Books agreed with my vision and so…voila! Dark End of the Street, a new, all-original anthology of two subgenres dear to my heart.”

This invitation-only anthology curates a collection of stories combining noir sensibilities with horror themes, and will feature stories from Rachel Harrison, Clay McLeod Chapman, George Sandison, Nick Mamatas, Dana Cameron, and more.
R. B. Wood, CEO of Ruadán Books, says, “We are delighted to welcome Ellen to Ruadán Books as a guest editor. She is the ‘professional’s professional,’ and bringing Dark End of the Street to our readers will showcase her talent and love of noir literature—a love we both share.”
Look for Dark End of the Street in October 2027.
