Print Robot Program Handles New Member Cards, Annual Renewals, and Replacements as a Repeatable Workflow

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fl. – May 27, 2026 – Print Robot, a US-based manufacturer of custom printed plastic cards and related products, has expanded its membership card shell program to include on-demand personalization capabilities. The update enables associations, clubs, nonprofits, and other member organizations to connect card personalization and fulfillment directly to existing membership management workflows, removing the need to handle card production as a separate manual process through automated integration via Zapier’s push technology.
The shell program is built for organizations that issue membership cards on a rolling basis throughout the year. Professional associations, arts organizations, yacht clubs, golf & country clubs, alumni programs, and nonprofits are among the groups that rely on the program to manage ongoing card issuance for new members, annual renewals, and replacement cards. The program is accessible to organizations issuing as few as 100 total cards.
Unlike standard batch orders, which require a minimum of 100 cards per run and a production turnaround of 10 to 15 business days, the shell program separates the printing stage from the personalization stage. The card design is produced upfront and held in inventory, allowing personalization runs to be processed in smaller quantities as needed without initiating a full production order each time.
A custom card design is produced in a single upfront print run and stored at Print Robot’s 55,000-square-foot facility in Deerfield Beach, Fl. When cards are needed, the organization submits a data file containing member details such as name, member ID, expiration date, QR code, and/or barcode. Card shells are personalized on-demand, with most runs completed in approximately five business days or less. There is no minimum quantity per personalization run. Data files can be submitted via email, secure FTP, or pushed automatically through a Zapier integration.
“Organizations with continuous member enrollment often find that card issuance becomes an ongoing administrative task,” said Jocelyn Silverman, Creative Marketing Director at Print Robot. “The shell program is structured to handle personalization and distribution as a repeatable workflow rather than a one-time print order, taking the heavy lifting out of ongoing membership card issuance as new members join.”
Fulfillment services are available as an add-on. Personalized cards can be adhered to a matching letter via glue dot using automated equipment, inserted into an envelope, sealed, and delivered to the post office for mailing directly to each member. Kits containing additional printed materials can also be assembled. Completed orders can alternatively be shipped to the organization for internal distribution.
Cards are produced on 30mil PVC plastic in gloss or matte finish, matching the thickness of a standard credit card. Optional features include magnetic stripes, barcodes, QR codes, signature panels, embossing, slot punching, foil stamping, and embedded RFID or NFC chips for programs requiring contactless functionality or access control. A paper card alternative is also available. Graphic design services are available on qualifying orders.
