Beyond Sheet Metal: Hymson’s Journey Continues with EuroBLECH & FABTECH 2026

SHENZHEN, China, Sept. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hymson Laser Machinery, a subsidiary of Hymson Group, today announced its participation in EuroBLECH 2026 in Hannover (Hall 15, Booth E06) and FABTECH 2026 in Las Vegas (Central Hall I, Booth C159), where it will showcase its sheet metal and tube laser cutting solutions under the theme ‘Beyond Sheet Metal’. The company also confirmed that its October 2025 acquisition of German laser specialist Xteg has been fully integrated, expanding its local sales and service network across Europe.

Hymson’s Journey

Today’s metal fabrication industry is moving beyond the solely pursuit of cutting accuracy. Manufacturers are facing growing complexity: diverse product demands, tighter cost control, higher productivity expectations and changing production requirements.Precise sheet and tube laser cutting remains essential, but it is no longer enough on its own. Manufacturers need technologies that fit their production processes, solutions that can evolve with their businesses and dependable support throughout the equipment lifecycle. This shift in industry needs is at the heart of what Hymson Laser Machinery defines as Beyond Sheet Metal.

Over the past few years, Hymson Laser Machinery, the Hymson Group company focused on sheet metal processing, has worked closely with customers across Europe, beginning with Hymson Germany and Italy, extending through local teams, customer engagement, technical exchanges and industry events. The same focus is now being extended across the whole Europe and North America region, where Hymson Laser Machinery is strengthening its presence to support customers more closely to their production scenarios.

Deepening Customer and Industry Engagement

In October 2025, Hymson completed the full acquisition of Xteg, a laser cutting equipment specialist based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Xteg brought established customer relationships, local market knowledge and an experienced sales and service organization.

For Hymson Laser Machinery, Xteg strengthens its European presence by adding local market knowledge, customer reference sites and an experienced sales and service network to its sheet metal technology and manufacturing capabilities. This combination brings Hymson Laser Machinery’s technology closer to European customers while strengthening its understanding of local production requirements. A new machine doesn’t justify an investment in production equipment. It begins with a requirement: additional capacity, a new production programme, higher throughput or a more efficient process.

Understanding that requirement means looking beyond specifications to the application, production flow and operating conditions. This has been an important part of Hymson Laser Machinery’s development across international markets.

The same exchange continues through activities such as Fiber Days in Germany and the Open House in Italy. In 2026, these events have provided opportunities to demonstrate Hymson’s HyLaser series machine in operation while gaining more direct insights into current manufacturing requirements.

Delivering Proven Technology in Production

Laser cutting remains at the centre of Hymson Laser Machinery sheet metal offering. Around it is a broader technical foundation spanning laser technology, motion control, automation, intelligent manufacturing and equipment integration. These capabilities extend from Laser Cutting Solutions for Sheet Metal Laser Cutting and tube processing to increasingly integrated and automated production environments. The relevance of these capabilities is ultimately determined in production. A machine must deliver consistent performance. A solution must fit the process. Automation must work within the existing production environment. And the system must leave sufficient scope for changing requirements.

These considerations influence how equipment is developed and configured.

Behind this capability is the broader strength of Hymson Group. By 2025, the Group’s cumulative R&D investment had reached USD 86 million, with 34.47% of employees dedicated to R&D. Total operating revenue is projected to reach USD 939 million in 2026, supporting continued investment in advanced technologies manufacturing capabilities and solutions for sheet metal processing. For customers, this means that Fiber Laser Cutting Machines, Tube Laser Cutting Machines and Laser Cutting Automation can be considered as part of a wider production system rather than as isolated products.

The equipment journey continues long after installation.

For Hymson Laser Machinery, supporting production over time means looking beyond a single machine. As production develops, customers may require higher power, larger working formats, Tube Laser Cutting Machines, Laser Cutting Automation, material handling or software. With a broader portfolio of Laser Cutting Machines and Sheet Metal Processing Equipment, Hymson Laser Machinery can support these changing requirements through equipment, automation and integrated solutions.

For this reason, service and technical support are closely connected to equipment performance. Installation and commissioning, operator training, maintenance, spare parts and technical assistance all contribute to the reliability of a machine throughout its operating life.

In Europe, Xteg Germany and Hymson Italy strengthen this support through its established local market knowledge, sales and service capabilities. In North America, Hymson Laser Machinery is developing its local presence to provide customers with closer technical and service support.

This October, that commitment continues at EuroBLECH 2026 in Hannover and FABTECH 2026 in Las Vegas.

Beyond Sheet Metal. The journey continues.

We look forward to welcoming you at EuroBLECH and FABTECH 2026.
